We're adopting a child from China! I'm sure a shocker to most since this hasn't been talked about much outside our home, but it was a decision we wanted to pray about, research and feel good about before we told the masses. And now, with excited hearts, we are finally telling how we have come to this most amazing place in our lives.
Have I ever told you how BLESSED we are? Let me count the ways.....2 healthy and beautiful children, loving and supportive families, a great job in a poor economy, an encouraging and prayerful church ...I could go on and on. Just blessed beyond measure. To the point where we decided we needed to help someone somewhere who may not have all that we have. So we decided we'd like to help a child in need and adopt an orphan.
We have chosen an agency (
America World Adoption) and are at the very beginning stages of this long process, "paper chasing" they call it. As we continue on I wanted to document this journey and will be updating this blog with every step that we take. Please come back and check how God plans to shape our family.
