We got our fingerprint appointment!!

In order to adopt internationally, each family must be approved through the United States Citizenship Immigration Services (USCIS). This approval will allow us to bring our child born overseas into the United States and is a required step for a child to gain US citizenship. We mailed off our USCIS application and received our notices in the mail TODAY of our fingerprinting appointments. May 17th here we come!!!! Once we are fingerprinted we should have approval within 3-10 business days. Just one more step in getting our dossier to China. Yippee!

Our Home Study has been reviewed, corrected and sent to AWAA. All paperwork is complete and now sent off to be certified.

Approved for the China Waiting Child Program!!! We are referral ready now - meaning we could potentially be matched with a child at any time.
